    Paul Barnsley

    PGA Class A Head Professional
    Paul was born and raised in Melbourne, Australia. In 1983 and 1984 Paul caddied for former British Open Champion Bob Charles in two Australian Tour events. The experience and exposure to the world of professional golf would leave an indelible impression on him. In 1983 he joined Yarra Yarra Golf Club, one of the top Australian golf clubs located in Melbourne's famous sandbelt area. Along with fellow teammates Robert Allenby and David Diaz, Paul helped form a seven-man team that would rival any amateur team in the State of Victoria.
    Paul played the Australian Tour for nine years. Over nine years he also competed in tournaments worldwide including Southeast Asia, Europe and United States. He has won 23 tournaments as a professional and has held a number of course records with his lowest competitive round being 62.

    In 1992, Paul came to the United States to take instruction from Hank Haney. Hank Haney is ranked #2 of golf teachers by Golf Digest, taught Tiger Woods for six years, author of his recent book The Big Miss, and a regular on The Golf Channel.  In 1995, Paul started teaching for Hank.  From 1999 to 2004 was the head golf professional for two of Hank's teaching centers, City Pointe in Dallas and Vista Ridge in Lewisville, TX.

    Paul has been a student of, Hank's mentor, Jim Hardy since 1995.  Jim is a former PGA Tour player, ranked in the top 10 teachers by Golf Digest, co-founder of the John Jacobs Golf Schools and author of The Plane Truth for Golfers and Solid Contract.  Jim presently teaches PGA Tour players Scott Piercy, Tom Pernice, Scott McCarron, Olin Brown, Bob Tway, Scott Simpson, Peter Jacobson and others.

    In 2005, Paul became the Head Golf Professional at The Philadelphia Cricket Club Militia Hill where he conducted regular teaching seminars for the golf professionals. From 2006 to 2008 he was the Head Golf Professional at Meadowlands Country Club in Blue Bell, PA where he ran the Barnsley Golf Academy with his wife Jennifer. Paul has been the Head Golf Professional at Race Brook Country Club since 2009, and only the sixth Golf Professional in the club’s history.

    Jennifer Barnsley

    PGA and LPGA Professional
    Jennifer grew up in a Philadelphia golf family playing at Torresdale-Frankford Country Club. She was medalist and runner-up in the 1984 Philadelphia Women's Amateur Championship. She attended to Marshall University on a golf scholarship and winning the 1985 Mexican Amateur was the highlight of her amateur career.

    After her amateur career she decided to move from Philadelphia to pursue her golf dreams. She worked with several top golf specialists including Mike LaBauve, ranked in the top 50 instructors by Golf Digest; and Carol Mann, winner of 38 tournaments and a LPGA Hall of Fame member. Jennifer has been a long-time student and friend of Jim Hardy since 1987, the author of The Plane Truth for Golfers. Jennifer is a Plane Truth Certified Instructor.

    Jennifer turned professional in 1985 and played on mini-tours in the United States, and played tours in Japan, Asia and Europe. In 1992 she competed on the LPGA tour as an exempt player.

    In 1993 Jennifer began teaching for world-renowned instructor Hank Haney in Dallas. Hank Haney is ranked in the top 5 teachers worldwide and currently teaches Tiger Woods. While working for Haney, she was instrumental in the expansion of the junior golf program, directed the LPGA Girls Golf Club of Dallas and conducted corporate golf clinics for women. She worked for Haney for 13 years as an instructor, junior golf coordinator and eventually Head Golf Professional.

    In 2005 she and her husband Paul moved back to the Philadelphia area and Jennifer taught at Cedarbrook Country Club. From 2006 to 2008 they were the professionals at Meadowlands Country Club running the Barnsley Golf Academy. In 2009 Jennifer joined Paul at Race Brook Country Club, and has played an integral roll in the club’s development of the thriving Junior Golf program.
